Toddler Resurrection eggs

Resurrection Eggs are a great way to tell the Easter story and provide a simple way to connect the resurrection to Easter eggs [hunts, bunny, etc.] as a symbol of life.
Last Easter I tried to use "the Resurrection Eggs," and I quickly realized they are geared towards older children. The concepts are laid forth in a way that was just too conceptual for my two-year-old. I loved the idea of the Resurrection eggs, so I created my own, some geared specifically towards little kids. At the time C was learning the alphabet, so I used the eggs as an acrostic for EASTER.
A version of my Toddler Resurrection eggs can be found in each Easter box. Each egg contains a sensory-friendly object and a bible verse.  My kids love them, and I'm sure that your will too!
